Our inaugural run was in January 2005. A bunch of us, who had been hashing elsewhere in Australia and around the world attemped to contact the then defunct Tamworth HHH. We were told that as most of the hashers were with the RAAF and had been posted, that it really hadn't been going for several years. HPM, however did previously hail from the Tamworth HHH, and he has told many wonderful stories about their escapades!

The rest of us have hashed in Brunei, USA, China, Hong Kong, where else? Newcastle, NSW and Japan.. I'm sure there are other places as well.

The HHH have roughly 1600 clubs all over the world. We run to drink. Or drink and run. Or drink to run. Some drink beer, others softies. We are purely a social club, with no competition, however that said, you can and will be punished (with a free beer or beverage of your choice) for something you have said, done, or just because!

How the Hash Works: One or two runners set a trail. The runners and walkers then have to follow the trail, taking into consideration false trails until they reach the end, whereby partaking in beer (or beverage of your choice), food and good company including bad jokes if we can remember them! You must bring a sense of fun and humour with you!

We run/walk in rain, hail, thunder (how we haven't been struck by lightening I'll never know), floods, snow and heat.. any type of weather. We do not call off the hash for ANY reason.
